more on the moon

My little night owl (Kaylie) went out to the garage with me last night, and said, " Mommy, the sun is smoky!" I said Kaylie that is the moon and it is foggy out, isn't that pretty cool? She insisted for about 5 minutes that is was the sun, so I finally said o.k. and dropped it.

its been awhile.....

I Know it's been awhile, but we were on vacation last week ( Yes Again) We went to visit friends at a cabin in Aitkin and then the rest of the week we were in the UP of Michigan. They were both awesome stays, and the kids and us had a lot of fun. This week was just spent trying to get back into the swing of things, laundry, and doing some much needed closet cleaning ( which I am not done with yet) But it's too nice out to be cleaning, maybe next time its raining it will get done!

Here are some great things heard from my two little angels lately:

Jack: "Where's the fly hitter" (there were bugs outside this morning and he needed the fly swatter)

Thursday night(coming home from the farm) - I saw a little skunk and I said,' Oh there's a baby skunk."
Jack: Where
Kaylie: (in the littlest voice, talking to herself says:) The baby stunk is in the cage be very very careful, don't touch it, be quiet. ( I think there was a skunk at Oxbow park last time they were there with grandpa and grandma)

Yesterday, when the kids were testing me, they came into my room to watch noggin while I took a shower, I came out of the shower and they were snuggled together on the bed, Jack sucking his thumb and twirling his fingers in Kaylie's hair. It was so precious!! I am the luckiest mommy in the whole world. All of a sudden Kaylie (in her grumpy voice) said Jaaaack, don't play with my hair!!! Jack then slid his arm around Kaylie and Kaylie snuggled right into him. It was the cutest thing!

That's all I can think of right now, but I'll keep writing.
