Broken Heart

We had an interesting trip to Winona last week. Jack was a hoot here's what he did/said:

We were in Penny's and after I let the kids pick out a couple of shirts, I went in the women's section to see if there were any deals, and Jack walked straight up to a manican, shook her hand, and said, "Hi it's nice to meet you!" I just about fell over with laughter and shock. Then I told Jack to be careful and not knock her over.

Jack's new pet name for Kaylie is sweet pea. I asked him where he thought of that. And he said,""Kaylie told me I could call her sweet pea, didn't ya Kayile?"

He also said after choking on his spit, oh I need to go to hte dr, I think a heart doctor, my heart hurts, i think its broke!

jksay

Jack is still talking about where babies come from and who was in who's tummy, I find it quite interesting that ha talks about this.

When Jack gets sad ( like we, are leaving or he is going somewhere with out one of us) He'll say," Mommy, I cry for you: or "I will cry" and his lip gets fat and he gets teary. Its pretty darn cute.

Jack told me the other day that he was scared in my tummy and that is why he wanted to get out, he also said that he hit Kaylie in my tummy. (does anyone believe that they can remember that) ( and he was the quite one in the womb)

Kaylie's favorite word is "sorry" right now, she fell off her chair today at supper, and she told us she was sorry, do I get after them that much? It is pretty sweet, and I always reassure her that its ok!

I better go to bed now, my snoring husband, is trying to sleep!

My Babies are going to school???!!!!!

Well the day has finally arrived, we picked out pre- school backpacks today:( I am kinda sad and kinda happy, because these two definatly need the social interaction that pre- school gives them. They are thrilled to be going, but I have a feeling that first day may be hard since my two energetic balls of fire, can be SHY!!! Oh, and Kaylie is still not potty trained so she may not be going at all! (Read on for that!)

Potty Training Blues

Well you guessed it, Kaylie is STILL not potty trained, I think she is finally getting the feeling of what it is that is trickling down her leg ( when I have her in underwear) She just refuses to SIT on the potty. I have tried EVERYTHING!!! Rewards, threats, candy, timimg her on the pot, although she cried and screams almost every time she goes on there. I guess we'll just have to keep trying!

Wedding bliss

Welllll I am also busy helping my baby sister plan her wedding and it is officially 11 days and 15 hours away ( the 23rd) This coming weekend I am hosting with my other sister at my house the bachelorette party, all I have to do is clean the house, buy buns, chips and make dessert. HMMM What should I make???? Cleaning the house is the toughy, I mean keeping it clean. I will mop when j and k get wisked off to Nanny and Papa's for the night. I have programs to cut, chex mix to make.........................

Don't get me wrong, I am so excited for this day. I can't wait. Did I mention that Kaylie is going to be the flower girl? She will be a very special princess for a day! I will definately post pictures after that!

Whats up

Ok so its been a couple weeks:( After being bugged by so many of you blog followers, I had to get on here and tell you what is going on in our lives. Busy, busy, busy, and I am not even working right now! Last weekend I helped volunteer at a benefit for my dear friend Ann, sho has ALS (http://www.walkingwithann.com/) for more info about her story. We put on a great benefit, and I was honored and proud to be a part of it with a great group of women! Last Wednesday we went to Lake Nebagomen (where?) My words exactly?? We purchased a 4-4ler ( how j and K say it) and hauled it home, what a long trip that was! We "celebrated" our 8th anniversary the night before, with a slow cooked roast, that didn't get done in time, before Jesse went to work and I went to play volleyball, I think the kids ate Mac and Cheese?? Well it was still an amazing feeling to know that we survived 8 years with each other!

Wednesday morning I had yet another interview, and then finally got into the foot doctor after 4 weeks of no diagnosis (of the the pain on the top of my left foot) it is a Stress Fracture, and I have to wear a hideous boot for two more weeks! The kids asked," Mommy, why are you wearing that snow boot." They now worry about my sore foot.

Since we got the 4- 4ler Jack has wanted nothing to do with his jeep, the toys inside, he just wants to go on rides on the 4-4ler. It is amazing enough that all 4 of us fit on there. It has two seats and Kaylie insists on sitting on the back one (Squished) She is the queen, and has to sit high on her throne!
