So my accident prone son, once again sent him and I to the E.R. tonight! He was climbing onto the counter(for about the 20th time today after being told not too all 19), and he slipped and caught his chin on the edge of the counter, he came crying to me and holding his mouth, I looked at him and proceed to see blood gushing from underneath his chin. I take him into the kitchen and put a paper towel on it. I take a look at the cut (gosh, skin is so thin on a chin) and determine that:
A: this is bigger than the last cut on his eyebrow
B this is deeper than the last one
C this is in a worse place, sooooo
Yes, he probably needs stitches, and after talking it over with our neighbor nurse, I took him to the E.R.
3 stitches was all it needed, sigh,
He was brave and excited to get a beanie baby whale, a sticker and the tools used to stitch him up(for the tackle box) He only cried dyring the novicaine part( gosh, they used a lot)
He sure give me lots of more things to worry about!

Aww, poor guy!! I had to have stiches in my chin when I was little too...running up and down the bleachers at dad's softball game wasn't any better of an idea than climbing on the counter:-) Hope it heals fast!!
